GuideVision’s Jan Procházka accepted into ServiceNow’s Certified Master Architect program

GuideVision is proud to announce that Principal ServiceNow Consultant Jan Procházka has been accepted into ServiceNow’s Certified Master Architect program. The Certified Master Architect is the pinnacle of ServiceNow certifications.

Jan is in one of three cohorts of only 25 participants selected per year worldwide; there is one cohort for each ServiceNow region: Americas, EMEA and Asia. Assuming Jan successfully completes the rigorous program, he will be a ServiceNow Master Architect, the first at GuideVision. As of February 2020, there were less than 50 people worldwide with Master Architect certification.

ServiceNow’s Certified Master Architect Program is an intensive elite level certification, currently limited to applicants from ServiceNow and Registered Partners. The program spans 6 months with weekly webinars either the cohort let or ServiceNow let and 2 onsite immersion sessions preparing candidates to undertake the final board review exam to become a Certified Master Architect. This year the program will be even more demanding as immersion sessions have to take place remotely due to the recent Covid-19 situation.

A typical participant is expected to be a veteran leader in the ServiceNow field, having successfully delivered many large, complex, global multi-product projects on the ServiceNow platform. They are required to have a special blend of technical expertise and soft skills in sales conversations and also post sales to deliver domains allowing them to manage and communicate best practice advice and guidance with customers.

“I would have never had an opportunity like this without working for the last five years at GuideVision,” Jan says. “GuideVision has enabled me to develop my own career in a very meaningful way. For me, the CMA Program is an opportunity to meet fellow ServiceNow architects and experts to exchange experience and best practices based on real-world projects.”

Jan says he sees the CMA Program as an ideal knowledge sharing environment which will boost the further development of skills essential to succeed as an ServiceNow architect. “What excites me about the program is its huge potential to enhance expertise by taking a holistic architectural view of custom ServiceNow implementations. I am also very interested in improving my knowledge of architectural decisions supporting long term business value delivery and return on investment, utilizing maximum leverage from the ServiceNow platform and its modules,” he said.

Master Architects are responsible for providing the overall guidance and structure for creating and maintaining the designs for the main services of the company, ensuring that the required business outcomes are delivered. The position involves management of a small team of Technical Architects. All designs created by the team should align to the architecture principles of ServiceNow and should be reusable, reliable and adaptive. The role also provides a technical gateway between the initial designs agreed in the sales conversations through to the delivery cycles with the project managers, business analysts, solution architects and developers.
