A Senior ServiceNow Solution Consultant provides expertise and guidance in designing and
implementing ServiceNow solutions that utilize ServiceNow capabilities to meet clients' business
needs.

 Senior ServiceNow Solution Consultant provides expertise and guidance in designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions that utilize ServiceNow capabilities to meet clients' business needs. The primary goal is to work with Clients as thought leaders, understand their needs, identify requirements, and utilize ServiceNow capabilities to enable Clients to achieve their goals and bring value to them.

 

Key responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance on ServiceNow modules—their capabilities, features, and best practices—to ensure robust and optimal solution design aligned with client needs.

• Collaborate to identify and implement opportunities for process automation, standardization, and improvement, maximizing the use of ServiceNow's out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities.

• Design scalable ServiceNow-based solutions that align with client requirements, leveraging best practices and OOTB capabilities to their fullest extent.

• Oversee testing activities to validate the functionality and quality of ServiceNow implementations.

• Develop and deliver training for clients and end-users, ensuring smooth adoption and effective use of the ServiceNow platform.

• Stay informed on ServiceNow updates and industry trends to offer timely, relevant recommendations and solutions.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to support ongoing consultation, implementation, and optimization efforts.

• Mentor and coach project colleagues and junior consultants, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development within the team.

• Continuously identify opportunities for further optimization and enhancements based on the latest ServiceNow capabilities and client needs.

 

Key skills and knowledge:

• Thought Leadership and Strategic Insight: Provide thought leadership to clients by understanding and articulating their needs within a strategic framework, offering ServiceNow-driven insights.

• Analytical and Conceptual Thinking: Strong ability to identify, analyze, and contextualize client requirements within the “big picture,” ensuring solutions align with business goals.

• ServiceNow Expertise: In-depth knowledge and several years of experience with ServiceNow, including configuration of OOTB modules, best practices, and the platform’s core applications to drive client processes.

• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to configure ServiceNow OOTB modules, conduct detailed demos, and provide hands-on support in solution design and implementation.

• Problem-solving and Process Analysis: Skilled in identifying client needs and translating them into ServiceNow-driven solutions. Capable of analyzing and optimizing existing business processes and data to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Consulting and Communication Skills: Exceptional consulting, presentation, and communication skills to engage effectively with clients, provide tailored recommendations, and deliver clear, actionable advice.

• Project Management and Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring timely and high-quality results within project deadlines.

• Cross-functional collaboration: Proven ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and testers, to achieve successful ServiceNow solution implementations.

• Certifications: ServiceNow certified; additional certifications in best practice frameworks (e.g., ITIL, Agile SCRUM, PRINCE2) demonstrate commitment to industry standards.

• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and German, enabling clear and effective communication with international clients and stakeholders.
