Financial Controller
We are looking for a new team member for our growing finance department in Prague to help take care of GuideVision entities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive, and cautious colleague for the position of Financial Controller in our finance department, who will lead his own agenda and at the same time work closely with other colleagues.
Main responsibilities and challenges:
• Processing and evaluation of monthly consolidated and individual financial results.
• Creation and coordination of financial plans and budgets, analysis of results in comparison with the budget.
• Data analysis, cost analysis, evaluation of profitability of individual companies in the holding group.
• Evaluation of costs and business cases with suggestions for optimization.
• Financial reporting - internal and external, towards the mother of the company according to IFRS.
• Setting up and improving processes and tools for controlling and reporting.
• Coordination of monthly financial statements in cooperation with the accounting department.
• Further ad hoc analysis if needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments, both locally and internationally.
Your profile should look like:
• Experience in the field of controlling 2 years as a minimum.
• Experience with creating analyses, budgets, forecasts (their creation, comparison, etc.).
• Preparation of consolidated company results.
• Experience with processing large amounts of data.
• Orientation in financial statements.
• Basic knowledge of accounting (accruals, accrued items, etc.).
• Good knowledge of Excel.
• English language at an advanced level (daily communication in English), the German language is an advantage.
• Communicativeness, friendly approach towards people.
• Independence, proactive approach, diligence, and a sense of responsibility.
