Last week ServiceNow introduced their second major release of 2019 - New York. ServiceNow New York continues to deliver new functionality across the entire platform as well as fixes to existing functionality.
We asked Csaba Váradi, GuideVision’s Head of Sales , for news on the latest ServiceNow® release, “New York,” which brings a number of breakthrough innovations to the popular Now Platform® for enterprises in the fields of mobile, intelligence, and workspaces.
The Now Platform brings together departments and functions of the enterprise that were previously siloed, and with the New York release’s emphasis on mobile, will allow a number of functions to be handled directly from the Now Platform’s native mobile app.
“As a ServiceNow Elite Partner, we are part of the vendor's Early Access Program, and were able to see and test the new features of the New York release before the official launch so we are excited and looking forward to implementing them to our existing and new customers.” Váradi said.
The new Now Mobile applications enable employees to get their everyday tasks done with less friction across IT, HR, facilities, finance, legal and other departments - all from a user-friendly mobile app which connects to the Now Platform. It brings a number of powerful functions together in an app that uses the same logic and ease of use as in consumer mobile apps. Users can use Now Mobile to submit and view requests and issues, submit approvals, upload images and attachments to ServiceNow records, sign documents, and search people, knowledge articles and catalog items.
“GuideVision has a strong track record of providing consistently high quality in its ServiceNow consulting, implementation, support and training services, as evidenced by our very high customer satisfaction scores,” Váradi said. “As our founders say, ‘our clients can always rely on us to get the job done as agreed’,'' he added.
“GuideVision’s consultancy services can help advise companies throughout their IT journey, from identifying and prioritising the functions that are necessary for its operations through expansion, initial implementation and beyond. The ServiceNow New York release has a lot of powerful new features, and by working with us our customers can be certain they’ll be making the most of that power,” Váradi said.
Váradi also pointed out that GuideVision has a very strong in-house software development team capable of creating bespoke solutions for customers as they are needed. These solutions can work hand-in-hand with ServiceNow’s functionality and, in the case of bespoke app development, can work perfectly side by side.
“As Frank Sinatra once sang of New York, ‘If I can make it there, I’ll make it anywhere.’ We believe GuideVision can definitely make New York come through for our customers,” Váradi said.
